The Apostle’s Creed is an ancient summary of what Christian’s
believe. It is recited in worship and is
said at baptisms. We recite it as a way
of remembering what we believe and also sharing in the Universal church. As Christians of all different denominations
recite this creed, we are reminded that though we are many, we are one in Jesus
Christ.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

Amble Church is a place to grow and learn. We do not have all the answers, nor do we believe that we have the only solution. We are learning and trying to live our faith. We believe that exploring faith together allows us all to grow closer to God.
